Whether you consider yourself to be religious, spiritual, agnostic, atheist or otherwise ~  my joy is to create a Ceremony that reflects and honours what you hold in your hearts.

Before our first consultation I will email you some questions and ask you to bring your responses, as a way of finding an initial feeling for what you believe in.   At our first meeting we then discuss any ideas you may have and I will add some more for you to think about.  I then go away and source readings, prayers, rituals and music that I feel would resonate with you and begin to write your own sacred Ceremony.   I communicate via email after this as I receive your thoughts on how the Ceremony is evolving for you and arrangements are made for a rehearsal the day before at the venue.    More details here.

Central to these Ceremonies are your own vows to each other, which I can help you to create, so that the whole ceremony is uniquely and deeply meaningful to you both - something you will remember for the rest of your lives.  I do like to create events with a difference and have lots of ideas!   The photo to the right was taken at a Handfasting Ceremony in the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa last summer, celebrating with a mixture of African and English traditions - seamlessly held together with deeply spiritual and mystical elements.

Wedding / Handfasting Ceremonies are written for those

  •     wishing to celebrate the joining together of two people according to their own personal beliefs

  •     who would like to join together in a place that is special to them and in their own way

  •     of mixed faiths wishing to unite their families in a respectful, honouring and uniquely personal way

Re-Dedication Ceremonies are a beautiful way for a couple to renew their wedding vows to each other in their own words and in a place that is special to them.    Whatever age you are and however long you have been together - it is a very special occasion both for you and for your families to come together in joy and remembrance of all the good times you have enjoyed together.   This can also be a time for letting go of the past and moving onto a new journey together ~ hand in hand and heart to heart.

NB: Legalized Wedding ceremonies will need the attendance of a Registrar, which can be organized.  This applies to most marriage ceremonies held outside of the Christian faith.
